Fantasy time: What would you eat right now if ...
... calories, cholesterol, allergies, heartburn, $$$, etc. were no object. Also, no such thing as "out of season".
Since this is a fantasy, might as well pick someone "interesting" to be your server.
Let's see, for me ... I'll take Mel Gibson and 2 Maine lobsters totally drenched in drawn butter (woohoo party time!), followed by a monster sundae consisting of Ben & Jerry's Choc. Chip Cookie Dough topped with Magic Shell, Fluff brand (no other will do) marshmallow creme, and chopped Snickers bars. Throw in a foot massage too, will ya Mel?
So what's on YOUR menu?

My boyfriend's bbq ribs (they're the best I've ever had), with homemade potato salad and roasted corn on the cob, and a really cold Negra Modelo, served to me by my boyfriend, wearing pajamas. (I've never actually seen him in pajamas, but I know he would look adorable).
By the way, this fantasy menu could change at any minute!

Lordy girl, you were digging deep in some old topics weren't ya?
I would like to be on the beach somewhere with calm waters and a table set up in ankle deep water with some hot cabana boy serving my husband and I. We would be eating grilled goodness from the sea......fish, shrimp, scallops, crab, lobster.......with drawn butter, and tobasco for dippin. Who needs vegis?

This my idea of fantasy dinner: a bbq of beef and chicken with the hybridizers of daylilies that I never got a chance to talk with, like A.B. Stout, R.W. Munson, Bill Watson, Pauline Henry of Siloam Springs and many others who went before them. I would pick their brains as to why a red flower crossed with a lavender often gives yellow seedlings when the seeds are grown to flowering stage. Or why Pinks crossed with lavender flowers will result in a near white. I would dearly love to ask them many questions.

Pizza!
or

Hi Donna. The worst part of "dreaming up that fantasy" menu for me is that I have the power (or lack of it) to make it a reality within a 3 mile circle of where we live. Temptation is everywhere!
For today, the breakfast craving was for a crab omelette that is smothered in a 6" high stack of onion crisped potato strings. I'd ask for my personal tableside pot of french pressed french coffee with 100% real cream.
By hiding the wallet and the car keys, I instead had a bowl of Special K and an English muffin. Coffee was spiced up with a little Splenda and a shot of fat free non-dairy creamer.
And Streetsoldier, nice to see you. As long as we're all dreaming anyway, you can still dream right along side us.
I wonder what Annabelle might conjur up for breakfast in her mind?
Crouton and Slowpoke would both devour anything we had left over.

I would have the chicken fried ribeye with the jalapeno gravy at the Iron Cactus Grill in downtown Dallas.....and a cold beer.

Today it would be Eggs Sardou. Poached egg on top of a fresh artichoke bottom, on a bed of creamed spinach and topped with Hollandaise sauce. One of Commander's Palace's famous brunch dishes. (Right down the street from where I'm house-sitting, and I'll be going there for their Sunday Jazz Brunch when my honey comes to visit. YUMMMY!)

I would have a feast of crab. From king crab to snow crab to dungeness crab to blue crab and everything in between.

Oh, yeah!!! Okay, I'll have a little jumbo lump crabmeat on top of my Eggs Sardou.
