UPDATE---8 face terrorism-related charges
A Florida college professor and seven other people were charged today with providing material support to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. Making the announcement, Attorney General John Ashcroft said the group is "one of the most violent terrorist organizations in the world."

If I remember correctly, said professor has been under intense scrutiny since just after 9-11, and was temporarily suspended from his position (with pay, of course....academia "taking care of its own" 
). Specifically, I recall his being on "The O'Reilly Factor" trying to explain himself (unsuccessfully) to the viewing public.
I, for one, am pleased beyond measure that the FBI finally has enough evidence to take him and associates to task for their activities.
