Tony Snow from Fox News Channel's, "Weekend Live," and who 'fills in every Friday' for Fox News Channel's Brit Hume on "Special Report" is going to be speaking at one of the recreation center (literally a couple minutes from my house) this Tuesday evening at 7:00. I am not totally sure what he will be speaking about, but it has to do with Washington, D.C.
As you may know, I am interested in television news... so it will be great to see a news anchor in person in the community I live in.

Tell him Garrett said "hi". Okay... so he probably doesn't know me, but you should tell him that Storm2K loves him.

I wouldn't be one to say much to him.
I doubt I will get that close to him. Regardless being in the balcony or not.

Just scream it out loud. Then it would make the news and I would have proof.

Just kidding with you wxbuddy.

Tom is it being broadcasted or just a local speach?

Hello BEER980.
I doubt Fox News Channel will cover Tony Snow's speech. It would be wonderful if they were to broadcast some of it.
I am sure VNN will broadcast at least a portion of the event.
Thank you for replying.

Always fun to see a celebrity. Tony has good on-air mannerisms and although he has fun doing what he does...he doesn't often push the limits. We need some newscasters like him to offset the others who push the envelope. Enjoy it!

It was great to hear and see Tony Snow in person.

A great sense of humor (as you may notice from seeing him on Fox News Channel) no matter if you're Republican, Democrat, Independent, etc.
A gentleman was very nice to let those around him borrow his binoculars for a few seconds each a couple times each. I used them once.
Unfortunately, we were 15 minutes late after having dinner out at a restaurant. Waiting for our food would have easily taken faster at other restaurants.
He spoke for just under an hour and took three questions from the audience.

Tom, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I've always liked Tony Snow.
He was at Lamar University in Beaumont a few weeks ago but I missed it.
