Need some help re ICQ

#1 Postby vbhoutex » Tue Oct 07, 2003 12:51 am

I finally found my ICQ files. I want to rid myself of ICQ and all the trash it brings with it, but I have not found and ICQ.exe file. I found a total of 67 icq related files. what do I need to delete to get rid of ICQ?

Is it in your uninstall folder? If so, you can try to get rid of it that way.

I am not at all familiar with icq.

I did some searching and came up with this link for you,
http://web.icq.com/help

I'll keep looking!

Nothing in any of my uninstall files identifies ICQ as part of that file/folder. I know it is a part of AIM or AOL owns it, but I do not want to get rid of my AIM. Any further ideas? I guess I could contact AOL and see if I can get some answers.

I at least found a place here to contact them about my problem. Thanks for the help. Hopefully they will have an answer.

I am having a problem with AIM. With AIM Verison 5.2.3292, you can
detele someone's s/n from the dropdown lists on the IM and Info
windows. I tried it, The next time I signed on, It keeps coming back. :o
I contacted Report a Bug., It didn't work. Anyway I can fix it?
