Scariest movie?

OK, since Halloween is coming up (whether you celebrate or not), you know cable channels are going to be ripe with horror movies and thrillers. Of course, Michael Myers will pop up a few times since it's "Halloween." That's a given. Maybe "The Omen," "Friday The 13th," and a few Freddy flicks will also air.
I've seen all those and then some. The problem is that I don't get scared. Serial killer flicks, stalker movies, and other psychological crime thrillers are more suspenseful and sometimes a bit more frightening...but not really. I'm not gonna say I'm brave, but I'm fearless. There's a big difference. I have yet to feel fear when I watch a movie. Hurricane, yes, Movie, no.
I've seen "The Exorcist," "The Changeling," and "The Gates Of Hell" which were all recommended as "the scariest movie in the world." Blah. "Blair Witch Project?" Nope. "The Ring" came close with all that monochromatic freaky imagery like some kind of German expressionism film. But there were some kids sitting behind my friends and I (and the theater was crowded) and they kept giggling during the non-suspenseful moments. It deteriorated the mood of the film. Hitchcock is good, but not scary. Out of Freddy, Jason, and Michael, I like Mike best simply because the music adds something to it. Still not scary. A TV-movie called "The Thirteenth Floor" with Michele Greene (Abby on "L.A. Law") was eery in a Victorian haunted house kind of way and that's the closest any flick has come to frightening me.
I've determined that vampires don't frighten me at all because they're just not believable. Witches - same. Demon possession - yawn, I'm Catholic. How many times can you watch a priest shaking a crucifix towards the darkness and chanting "In the name of God, I order you back to hell!"
I want to see a movie that I can watch alone, in the dark, and get totally frightened to the point that I'll need to turn on the light and call my best friend and stay up all night because I'm afraid to close my eyes. Or at least one that makes me want to sleep with the lights on.
Any suggestions?
