Pinball

#1 Postby coriolis » Sat Sep 27, 2003 7:52 pm

Any pinball players out there? I was playing 3D Pinball for Windows - Space Cadet (It comes with Windows) and got a score of 12,005,250.
What's everyone's high score? My all time record is 15,423,000.

I think that Windows made a good choice on this game. It's like the older games. No dragons, demons or bikinis, just targets, one set of flippers, and sufficient complexity to make it interesting.

I use to play a "LOT" of pinball back in the 70's, especially back in my military days, every corner bar (not that I ever WENT to them "LOL!") had at least one! I haven't played the comp version.....I don't have time anymore, that's what happens when you own your own business, the business OWNS YOU!

This pinball game didn't come with my computer. The games that did, (Solitaire, Minesweeper and Freecell) seemed to have disappeared... I vaguely remember doing something with them, but then again why would I do such a think.

I love spending my time here at Storm2K, I probably would never get the chance of trying this game out. I assume there is a free download for it somewhere online.

I have Windows 98... I know I never had it and figured it was on a newer operating system.

Ahhh Pinball.................The machines i perfer and was a wizard of sorts as well...................As far as score goes the only thing i can say is that my longest game ever took 3 hours which i quit btw for ummm reasons;).............Yea all my friends wanted to kill me when i left in that game...............The Machine btw was Hollywood nights by bally....................I as well use to get tossed out of arcades for this because the owners lost money because i would come in drop a quarter and be there all day on that pinball machine............................anyways i have turned lots of these machines over and never kept track of my highest score ever.....................I still perfer the older ones from back in the late 70s and the 80s......................
