FINALLY.....it's "AUTUMN!" WOOOOHOOOO
I for one am ready to kiss summer goodbye and welcome fall with open arms! It's been one HOT summer up here in the mountains, it's time to kick back, watch the leafs change color! "Welcome Autumn!"

I love the changing seasons. You can smell it in the air and it gives me such a good feeling. I bet it is very nice up on the mountain during fall.

Yes indeed - welcome Autumn!!! We're already having cool nights/mornings. I love this time of year! I enjoy getting out the sweaters and cords again. And putting away pool toys, etc. Can you tell I'm not a Summer person? LOL

And it greeted me with a gorgeous sunrise this morning!!!!! The air smells sooooo fresh and clean. With all the winds and rain we've been having, my job tonight is to pick up the chestnuts in the yard. "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack Frost nipping at your nose".

Hey Karan, I fired up the Pot Belly Stove, throw some of the chestnuts on the PBS would ya?? I "LOVE" fresh roasted chestnuts!

still in the 80's here...in fact it was 93 on Saturday afternoon in Atlanta.....but the 70's are right around the corner. I'm no longer riding the bike in short sleeves. This morning was a sweatshirt and leather coat.

77º here right now w/low humidity. It is gorgeous outside.
So why am I inside working???
I love Autumn------ pumpkins, apple crisp, homemade soup, etc.

I want fall too... can someone please remind Florida what season it is.. Its humid enough to wring the water out of the air. It is 82 right now... YUCKY! I want FALL!!!!

Twas a hot summer too ... many 80° and 85°+ days here ... forced me to get an air conditioner :o
...
I can't wait for the Santa Ana winds and our first rain though
