WASHINGTON, Feb. 14 The Bush administration now believes some of the information that led to a heightened terrorist alert was likely fabricated, a senior government official told The Associated Press Friday. The official emphasized, however, that other evidence of terrorist planning exists, and President Bush will speak Friday at FBI headquarters to highlight steps taken to increase security.

I think if they lower the threat back down to yellow that most people wouldnt be so out of their mind with things they've only heard and assumed. I suppose in the coming days and weeks even, that if they keep it orange that the thoughts will wane a little and we'll just get used to knowing it is there.
