Fake Hurricane Claudette pics???

#1 Postby GalvestonDuck » Tue Sep 16, 2003 12:24 pm

Posting this off-topic because things are getting too close and too serious in regards to Isabel.

Someone sent me a couple of pics of Claudette taken from a bridge and deck of a cargo ship. The minute I saw them, I thought they had to be fake. No rain, calm seas, but up in the sky there's a huge rounded wall of clouds that descends down towards the surface. Honestly, one of them looks like a pic that may have been taken from a recon flight just before they got up and over her. I think both may have been...and then superimposed over pics taken down on the boat.

Anyone out there willing to take a look at them and verify my thoughts? http://f1.pg.briefcase.yahoo.com/txbardtobe Click on the folder marked "Canes" and then click on both files.

Thanks!

Well, duh...I came here first (cuz I love you guys! :) ) and then went to the site that the pics are labeled with. Now I'm certain they're fake.

I would view 'em from school, but the administrators in my school district blocked them, I'll check the library computers over the weekend.

It's not a fake hurricane, it's a real flying saucer.
