As Bush said the game is over and with or without UN backing the US will go with a coalition of the willing to disarm Iraq.

I'm surprised he didn't require each U-2 to be painted baby blue with Pampers placed over the camera lenses...
And French Mirages? Those planes wouldn't stand a snowball's chance in hell in a tangle with Saddam's MiG 29s...as to the Antonov planes, they are Cold War relics from the same design process that gave us the B-47...
