What is the Star Chat and how do you get in the thing.

I have been trying & trying. Im pretty computer illeterate but dog, It is like getting into the treasury. If someone could tell me the trick I would appreciate it. And do I really need to get in it? :?

Sorry you're having problems. At the top of the Message board is a "Chat" button. All you have to do is hit it and change the name at the top of the page that comes up to your nickname and then hit connect.
There was an error in the link a couple of days ago but Chad got that fixed. If you are an AOL user you must first register your nick by following the instructions on this page.

I hit the chat button and do not see a place at the top of the page to put in my nickname.

There should be a blue box labeled "Nick Name" with "Guest" in it. Just erase "Guest" and put in "Black Opal". It will only take 6 or 8 letters but you can change that once you are in the chat room. Once you are in the room just type the following line.. /nick Black_Opal

hmmm....i went in there and it was trying to make me download some lam yuk fai thing...i dind't know what it was talking about?!

Its a security warning that pops up.. you have to hit yes. If anyone would like to recomend a different chat host... go for it...

that pop-up is for the Java Chat client that you have to have. The other option is to use any good IRC client like PIRCH or mIRC to get there.
