I may not be around much for awhile...

As some have probably noticed, this is the first post I've made today....

The reason? I just walked in the door from the hospital -- where I've been since 2:45 a.m. last night. My uncle Larry was rushed there after suffering excrutiating abdominal pain....

The bad news? It's gallstones and an infected gall bladder... the worse -- his heart is only beating at 10-15% of normal efficiency (he underwent triple bypass surgery in 1996, and was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in 2001). If the gallbladder isn't removed, my uncle will die....and the surgeons don't believe he would survive surgery....his heart is too weak :(

Your prayers on his and aunt Millie's behalf, and on my behalf are greatly appreciated.

May God bless,
Perry

Perry, I am praying for uncle to survive the surgery. I am praying for my mother who is dying of liver failure and congestive heart failure at the same time so adding your uncle to my list is no problem.

Thoughts and prayers to your uncle, Perry. I wish him well.

One of my uncles has liver cancer, I believe it is. I am not clear on specifics, but I understand that there was some sort of mistake made which led to his cancer.

You got it Brother......he will be covered by prayer!

I had that surgery 3 years ago, it is a tough one even though it's not very invassive, it's done with a scope now, very tiny incession.....painful non the less. Rest assured my friend, snowman and his house will lift him up!

Thanks so very much everyone. Praise the Lord my uncle is responding to treatment. I don't know what the future holds (those gallstones aren't going away, and the surgeon said surgery would be very high risk considering uncle Larry's weak heart)...but he is improving, and was allowed to eat solid food at lunch (first time since Thur evening), and thankfully it didn't upset his stomach...why Granny and I came home to rest this afternoon.

I thank God for the prayers said on our behalf, and am so very humbled and appreciative.

May God bless each of you! :)

My father had several gallstones and his gallbladder had to be removed, last year.

He himself, at first (of course)/we thought it may of been his heart again, but luckily it was not.

Thanks everyone....your kind words make another tough day easier to endure. My uncle is better....after suffering from pneumonia over the weekend. His fever finally broke this afternoon, and at last check around 9 p.m., he was feeling good, had no fever, and felt no ill effects from his dinner..

We're hoping and praying he'll be released from the hospital tomorrow or Wednesday.

Again, thanks so very much! :)

God bless you,
Perry
