Two weird fish I caught

I caught these two fish in Padre Island. I have no idea what they are called. The first is really ugly. The second one is kind of neat looking.

Woah those are weird. How did you catch them, in a net? That first one looks like a mudskipper. You know the ones that can go from one body of water to the next on land.
