As the title says, have you? I've never fallen completely asleep during either work or school but there were a few times when my eyelids became very heavy and I would start to doze off briefly. This has happened both during a lesson and when I was supposed to be working. There would be times when I was so tired I wished I could just lay down right on the floor and sleep. I've seen/heard someone fall fast asleep before right during class and snoring could be heard throughout the room.

I have falled asleep at both jobs...not good either when the boss catches you

Does it count when I was deployed and only had like 2 hours of sleep the night before? they told me to go home but work had to get done and I didnt want to put extra work on people

In the military, especially while deployed or while in movement, you sleep when you can. So that counts as "while at work" You learn to sleep in any position on any kind of surface...and I've fallen asleep at school before, too.

I didnt know I could fall asleep for a couple of hours on concrete till it was the only option.....

I've not had a job for ages (been to university, then been looking since last year) but I have fallen asleep at work (although only very briefly), school and university.

If you didn't doze off or fall asleep then no.

Saw some video of soldiers sleeping all over this cement surface and in upright positions.

I'm surprised by the poll numbers, I thought all the Yes answers would be in the Almost category. Shows how rampant the problem is.

The most comfortable position in the world to take a nap, during a long day, is in your body armor (the vest with plates), propped up against a wall...it doesn't matter what surface you are on!

Oh I fell asleep alright..

Too many times to count! Mostly its been me nodding off and jerking awake before snoring. I have also fallen asleep at work sitting in a car waiting for the car to tell me if i need to add oil or not and that process takes about 10 mins.

I haven't, which is good because no telling what the kids would do if the teacher fell asleep. LOL

There have been a few days I have wanted to after being up late at night tracking storms or waiting on a snow that didn't pan out.

i hardly ever fall asleep at school
but i fell asleep at maths class about 2 yrs ago

Been there as well. You get tired enough and you can sleep anywhere. During a deployment I fell asleep at the wheel of a deuce while we were waiting to be marshaled out into the convoy.

Unfortunately, in the morning on the way to work I do get drowsy, especially in stop and go traffic. I do have coffee with me, btw. I've been fortunate but it does scare me.

I get drowsy at work too in the middle of the afternoon. Need that afternoon caffeine fix to get me through the last few hours. I wish they had nap time!

I have fallen asleep when I was in my elementary school years, but only when I felt sick in the middle of the day. FUnny thing is, my teacher(s) never chew me out for it.

ALL the time in high school. Going to sleep at midnight and having to be in first period at 7 was lethal at that age. I had a history teacher who loved to smack the crap out of your desk if he busted you snoozing. Funny to watch if victim wasn't you. But um yeah I have wiped the drool off my face once or twice in high school.

I fell asleep in one of the helicopters as they were flying us from BIAP (Baghdad International Airport) to my FOB. One of the flights from Kuwait to BIAP I fell asleep on...and then they did the combat landing. Talk about a startling wake up! "We are currently at 10,000 feet, and will be on the ground in two minutes." "No way they get us down that quickkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk! Oh sh**...hey look, we're on the ground!" Lmao!

ROFLMAO! While I was at Ft Bragg we did a couple of "max-effort landings". First (and hopefully) the last time I ever get the opportunity to kiss my own butt.
