Just coming from me, his roommate should probably just disappear from campus, people around here aren't afraid to dish out street justice. :grrr:

I saw this on the news tonight. What a butthole his roommate is. I hope he gets the maximum penalty allowed by law and is shunned by friends and family for the rest of his life.

Statement from RU, got this through email.

"This young man was reportedly the victim of an incident that took place
in one of our residence halls last week. Two fellow Rutgers students
have been arrested and charged with invasion of privacy for their
actions in that incident. If the charges are true, these actions gravely
violate the university’s standards of decency and humanity.

The case is being investigated by the Rutgers University Police
Department. The students—like all who are accused of a crime—must be
presumed innocent until proven guilty. The case is also being
investigated by the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs
under the code of student conduct. Please know that while Rutgers does
not comment publicly on the specifics of cases involving active criminal
investigations and allegations of student conduct, the university is
taking this case very seriously."

Under my law's they'd both be charged with murder.

I honestly wonder if the roommate got a little thrill watching him. :x

How disgustingly tragic. I hope that there is a little street justice dealt out. There needs to be some embarrassing videos, pictures, etc. posted all over campus and Facebook of those two. Unfortunately, nothing will bring that talented violinist back.

I am sorry if this offends anyone or multiplies anyone's hurt, but suicide is deeply personal. No one should ever have to hold themselves to blame for a suicide. There are many more options for justice and dignity other than suicide.
The deepest tragedy is that someone was suffering.
Suicide leaves a legacy of anger and pain. Try not to perpetuate it. It does not change what has happened.

The actions are despicable in and of themselves.

RIP Tyler.

Those kids should be charged with murder. If it were my case I would. Such as down here 4 teens broke into a home, the homeowner shot one of the kids to death, the other just wounded. The 3 living kids were charged with murder, not the homeowner. I hope that the kids who taped that and thought it was soooooo funny burn in the devils home.

I remember another case in Florida, where a man and woman broke into a home or business and she was shot and killed by the owner. He was being charged with murder for her death.

And he still has yet to apologize. Personally I think he should go back to India but the Judge decided.

I'm sorry, but 30 days is not enough. He did not make his room mate to take his life, but his prejudice was blatant and disgusting. He has not apologized. Karma is a bi-otch though and wears stilettos..... :grrr:

I agree. We don't need trash like him here in the US.
