Got to see many friends and meet new people. The venue was great with good scenery. 
Since hurricane season is going, my friends wanted to know how the tropics are acting. We have TD6, which will likely be Danielle and I think it could be a major hurricane. Thankfully, it should be a fish storm for the time being.
Many of my friends saw District 9. Anyone who as not seen it, should see the movie. It is a great movie.
Unfortunately, we are heading to a period of unfortunate anniversaries, Hurricane Katrina and 9/11. 9/11 profoundly impacted me and I really miss the World Trade Center. Such a sad and tragic day. I remember the images of the buildings on fire and crashing down with people still inside.
Overall, I had a great time.
