Swimming and USA Swimming

Does anyone have children who swim and their club belongs to USA Swimming? My 9 year old started swimming city league this summer and we are getting ready to sign all three of the girls up for a year long swimming program. I notice that they have to belong to USA Swimming in order to participate in the meets.
