I'm surprised that there isn't a post about Jessica Watson yet; the 16-year-old girl circumnavigated the globe, unassisted, in a pink boat named "Ella's Pink Lady". She started and finsished her voyage at Sydney, and sailed 22K miles in seven months.

Now, her next challenge is getting a driver's license... :larrow:

I dunno. She may have traveled around the world, but can she parallel park?

That could be a problem; during her voyage, she never entered a port, or received assitance of any kind. Imagine spending seven months alone on the briny seas...wearing and eating ONLY what you had in the boat when you pulled out of harbor.

Parallel parking would be the LEAST of your worries.

Being a boater guy, I followed her voyage from start to finish. She did a daily blog and sometimes uploaded video and had about 700 to 900 replies every day. An amazing feat, and surely an accomplishment that few will equal. My hat's off to Jessica. Seven months on a 34 foot boat - WOW WOW WOW!!!
