And less than six months to the first anniversary of the December 10th snow miracle!

As soon as I saw the title to this thread I knew it had to be a drought stricken/hotter than Hades Texan that started it.
When we had our summer from Hedoublehockeysticks we found watching movies with lots of snow helped (as did hanging around the open freezers at Safeway......what one will do without A/C ;\

).

You should have seen my eyes when I went to the nearby grocery store and saw a holiday peppermint roll in the freezer section. With CHRISTMAS packaging...and a logo saying it was NEW!

That's it!!! I cannot do this again. Visiting people I'm somehow related to and pretending to enjoy myself. Waiting in lines to spend money. Hanging lights all over the house.....so Santa can look down from 30,000 feet and see us.
The only things I really like about Christmas are midnight Mass and watching my wife freak out when the cat climbs the tree attacking all the dangling things.
I'm skipping Christmas this year. I'll donate some money to my charity of choice (Komen) and then go find a beach.

Sounds like a certain Christmas movie that was made in 2004 with Tim Allen staring.

Your correct. John Grisham wrote the book. Personally, I think Robin Williams would have been better suited for the role.
