40 years after Manson murders, a bid for parole?

I don't think so.

This was probably the first horrific crime involving a celebrity I can recall my parents talking about and watching coverage on TV. I was only 14 at the time and could not get the image out of my mind, for a long time, of what poor Sharon Tate went thru in her last remaining moments, pleading for the life of her unborn baby. I hope and pray Susan Atkins doesn't receive parole. IMHO, it doesn't matter to me one bit if she's remorseful and sorry for what she did. She needs to remain in prison until she passes away. I will always feel this way for all of the Manson criminals, most especially Charles Manson himself.

Oh I agree. The one asking to get out is the one that stabbed Sharon Tate, even after ST pleaded for her life and her unborn baby. She was 8 months pregnant.

I think all and any of his followers and most especially Charles Manson should never get out of prison.

Insanity is not knowing right from wrong and not understanding the consequences of your actions. In my humble opinion Manson and his "family" are not insane and its unfortunate that they couldnt be sent to the gas chamber.

Charles Manson was not at the scene of the murders, but he is just as responsible as the killers themselves. He is no different from Gertrude Baniszewski, who got her own children and other children to brutally torture Sylvia Likens in 1965. Manson is a raging psychopath. They should all rot in prison until they die. They should of been executed. Charles Manson is one of the most hated besides Fred Phelps, Lori Drew, Jim Jones, and Osama bin Laden and for good reasons.

Hell will freeze before he gets out of prison.

Atkins is terminally ill with brain cancer. She is paralyzed. She is experiencing hell on earth and has more to come when she passes.

Let the hate end.

While I do strive to let go of hate, this one I can't agree with. The crimes they committed were extremely disturbing. I realize Atkins wouldn't harm anyone ever again but she needs to remain in prison. This is where they all belong until they die.

They all should have been executed years ago and we wouldn't be having this conversation. The victims can't ask to be "let out" early.

I agree with that statement too Kelly. If good, tax paying citizens had their way we'd have more executions for horrible crimes such as these. But we are not in charge......which is a crying shame.

Agreed. I read that Manson may have been linked to 40 murders and possibly even more. They even tried to assassinate President Gerald Ford.

I agree. They should have been executed for their crimes.

Yes, if most of us had our way, this would be a non-issue and these demons would not be requesting parole but would be burning in Hell.

Charles Manson proves that some people are just born evil. They are bad seeds.
