Actually, this is the second Earth-sized planet found....after Venus.

There have already been about 2 Earth-like planets discovered. Kinda cool they're still finding more.

Earth like planets or not, considering the enormous number of stars in our galaxy (to say nothing of the other billions of galaxies in the known universe), it would be silly to think that our planet is the only one with life. There must be trillions of species throughout the universe.

We could find a hundred earth like planets, but it doesn't do much good until we can find a way to get to a planet 10 light years away.
