You think
that's spooky? You'll never think of printer jams the in quite the same light after viewing this:

Don't you hate when your printer does that?
Fortunately this episode ended happily when Mista B decided to go autonomous and choked on his own output, but would that happen with real world artificial intelligence systems?
Quantum computers never bothered me much when their speed was only useful for cracking ciphers and storing data. You still needed a human or at least a slow running bot to do the logic steps and decide what was worth looking at. Now they have developed microscopic hardware that can do "quantum if" programming steps. No place to hide when you are plugged in and one of those bots is online Ö
Some of Ted Kaczynski's paranoid rantings that technology could give unfair advantage to those that wield it actually start to sound sane.
