The mom (or dad) was most likely an ISR instructor who knew the baby had already been trained what to do if he fell into the water and had to survive. Plus, there were probably enough adults around anyway. I learned to swim when I was a baby (of course, not with that group...just with my parents). I've seen lots of babies who love the water. But it is dangerous. So, having this specialized training so the infant will turn and float on his back is a great idea if it can prevent a drowning. Nevertheless, people should be careful that children don't go near pools, lakes, ponds, or the ocean unsupervised.

:uarrow: :uarrow: :uarrow: :uarrow: That is the ultimate. Be responsible enough to prevent the possibility! :uarrow: :uarrow: :uarrow: :uarrow:

Our first Grandchild is due any day now. Her paternal Grandparents live on 3 acres on a private lake.

How cute was that baby when the dad (at least i'm guessing it was dad) picked him up. The baby's grin was priceless.
