Forty-four presidents, backed by Ravel's Bolero -- amazing morphing!

Notice they didn't start smiling showing their teeth until Jimmy Carter!

That was way cool.
I am ashamed to say but I didn't know most of the names before Abraham Lincoln,
or I should say 8-16, lol.
Really neat to see all the faces of the great men who all had a hand in making this
country what it is today. Pretty powerful.

Me too! I think I need to read up on my history or something.....a few names I don't even recall learning about in school.

That was a neat link Dee. Thanks.

What is most impressive about the slideshow is to realize that it has been 231+ years and it's still the United States of America. The world has changed a lot in those years.

History Channel's "The Presidents" give you a great background and historical facts about the presidents' lives and work.

Nobody knows the Presidents between Jackson and Lincoln, or between US Grant and McKinley.

Unless they have just looked it up on a search engine.

Don't feel bad.

My kids know them all. They learned a song in first grade to remember the presidents names and they still remember it, for the oldest that was 10 years ago....

I never realized that Grover Cleveland's two separated terms were considered to be separate presidencies, #22 AND #24. That means that only 43 men have actually taken the oath of office.

Zachary Taylor and John F Kennedy had very long faces.
