It's offical.....we're commissioned officers

#1 Postby azsnowman » Thu Aug 14, 2003 7:04 pm

FINALLY.....Michelle and I received our commission from the State of Az and White Mountain Apache Police Dept, we are of course only reserve officers but non the less we did it WooooHooooo! We are now authorized to perform duties with the WMATPD. It's been a life long dream of mine to be a fully commissioned officer, it took a little longer than I wanted but what the hay  Out west here on the mountain, there's an old sayin'......"There's mountain time, Mormon time and Apache time" Apache time could be anywhere from today, tomorrow OR next year "LOL!"

Now, then, Dennis and GB...did you pay attention in "Donuts 101; The benefits of sugar rushes and high concentrations of oily caffeine in the application of Law Enforcement"?

WELCOME to the Thin Blue Line...or is it "Brown" down there? :D :D :D

We have a donut shop up here called Zombies......99.9% of the Pinetop PD use their drive thru for their coffee and donuts, for every 5 donuts you buy, your 6th is free.......Hmmmm, wonder if they have a frequent dozen donut buyer club?? "LOL!"

That's good news. You sound excited like a kid. Congratulations, Dennis and Michelle.

What are your duties, and does it pay well?

And by the way, what is Mormon Time?

Here in SC they have Krispy Kreme...buy a dozen, get a dozen hot glazed free....hence a large contingent of overweight police officers.

I'm off the donuts myself...not on the menu if your doing the South Beach Diet :)

Way back when, in good old 1970's STL, we had Dunkin' Donuts; coffee was always free, and the donuts were 1/2 price. Same for Denny's, IHOP (food was 1/2 price), etc. They all wanted "BADGES" in their establishments!!!

Congratulations you two. You are surely a credit to Pinetop and your neighbors. I wish you well when you are called upon to use your new responsibilities to help someone in need.

I can think of no two people I'd rather have working on my behalf than you and Meeshell!!!

Good celebrate at Charlies!
