While most of you are melting from the recent heat wave across most of the U.S., including myself  We're already making winter preparations, I mean...look at how fast THIS month is going, it's almost half over already, before ya know it, the leafs will start changing, the first frost of the year for me is only about 4 weeks off, maybe earlier from the signs I'm seeing with Ma Nature already. What do you do to prepare for old man winter?? Steve.......I know you winterize the pool with antifreeze and all that "LOL!" J/K.....we've already started cutting fire wood, putting some of our equipment in storage, starting filling the freezer with meat, filling the cupboards with canned goods JUST in case we get snowed in  hey...ya never know, I've seen snow over 6 feet deep here in town, with drifts over 14 feet tall, wouldn't THAT be nice

I will soon start limbering up for doing weekly snow dances.

Actually, I just make sure I can find my heavy coat, hat and gloves. And of course the snow shovel.

I haven't done anything yet...as long as my snowblower works I'm ok...I'm thinking of having somebody plow my driveway every day, it saves me a lot of time and its pretty inexpensive. Other than that, no major preparations here.
