i tuned in right when they were trying to figure out what kind of pressure it took to sever that girls leg. 900 pounds is what it took. i was shocked. i was amazed at all the contributing factors to cause the great white shark to attack and then attack again. i do not know what i would do if that thing came at me.

great whites amaze me on how they can come out of the water when attacking a sea lion. in my neck of the gulf i have to worry about the bull shark the most. there has been an occassional sighting of tiger sharks near the islands off the ms coast. but i never swim out there, i stay either on the beach or in the boat. lol.

Those injuries were actually inflicted by Hillary Rodham Clinton, targeting people who didn't buy her book. :o

There are loads of great whites hanging out in Cape Town waters (back home in South Africa) There is a large seal population as well as penguines, and it is amazing to sit on a boat and see these monster sharks take down a fully grown seal.... Seen it with my own eyes.. NOT PRETTY! :o

My kids were watching it, but I couldn't. Now tonite they tried to see how few bites it takes to eat a piece of pizza. I don't like blood and guts.
I'll stick with the mountains, thank you. (Nice bear, Nice bear)

People who go wading with sharks intentionally aren't at the top of the smart pyramid! Maybe Darwin was right after all! :-)
