Recipe Forum

#1 Postby azsnowman » Sun Aug 10, 2003 7:45 am

I posted this in the Suggestions Forum, thought I'd put it here for more traffic  With cooler weather just around the corner (I hope!)......I start doing more cooking, as most of you know, I "LOVE" to cook and with the heat this summer, I haven't done much. ANYWAYS.....with the cooler weather and the holidays JUST around the corner too, I thought it might be a good idea to have a recipe forum. I've got some REALLY good southwestern recipes, some old family recipes that I'd like to share PLUS, I like getting recipes from other parts of the country too. I have one recipe in particular that I use during the holidays, I posted it at TWC winter before last, they asked permission to use it on their website and did a special segement on air too (at least they SAID they did, I never saw it )

So, with that said, whatta y'all think, a recipe forum or not?

Another forum? I really don't think it's necessary. We have enough as it is...

For those of us who enjoy cooking I think a recipe forum is a great idea. TWC had one and they had some great recipes. Bon Appetit!

I have to side with OtherHD on this one. We could start a Recipe thread in the Off-Topic but I don't see a whole Forum devoted to recipes. :-)

YUM!!!!!!!!! mrschad can always use more recipes :D :D lol.... I like the idea of sharing our recipes, cant wait to get started :D But to be honest with you I just dont think it warrents a whole new forum... If you dont mind lets try just a dedicated thread for it... Call it storm2k recipes or storm2k Kitchen or whatever neat lil title you guys can come up with for it.. Lets give that a go and see what happens... I'll let one of you guys start it off :D :D

Thanks,
chad

Now Chad, I hope your not implying anything about my cooking! LOL..... And I can't help but comment on how you can't wait to get started.... I'm so excited, I might get Chad to cook his first meal! LOL..... well, he's cooked before...... macaroni and cheese, toast, eggs, hmm that about sums it up, LOL.

I would love to to participate in a recipe thread. I've got some great Italian recipes to share.
