Reach 77 today in Omaha (OMA); 75 at the NWS. It was VERY nice to be in shorts today! :D

Tomorrow, SLIGHTly cooler, but still nice with lower 70s. Thunderstorms (some possibly strong) are possible late tomorrow and tomorrow night.

Thereafter, showers for Wednesday with 60s; Pt. Cloudy for Thursday through Sunday with highs rising to near 70 again by the end of the period.

In keeping with the state motto thread....#$^%@&*^!!!!!!!

Pouring rain. River is rising. Just about flood stage by me, there are families in town that I am sure must have evacuated by now. I won't complain, at least the earth isn't shaking here!

I wasn't kidding when I said Cloudy. Temps only got up to 70*F so far.

Wind gusts were nearly 40 MPH, however it felt like 50 MPH when I was out walking around.

We have had it all here in Western WA! Today we had heavy rain, hail, wet snow, thunderstorms, sun, and now winds that are gusting to near 40MPH!! Temps not getting out of the mid 40's for the most part.

Our mountains are getting hammered by snow! Most all ski areas will be opening up by the weekend as they have had more snow in the last 4 days then they basically have had all winter  We have really changes up here from mild and sun like we saw most of the winter, to wild and wolley for spring!!!!!

Currently very windy with a temp of 41.7 degrees

Take a look see at my radar avator; storms are uh' coming! :) Have even had a few severe storms out near North Platte. No precip. here in the Omaha area yet, but a 70 to 90 percent chance of rain and storms through early Wednesday afternoon says that will soon be changing! :)

Today, the hgih reached 79 degrees officially at the Omaha airport, while NWS had 78.

Wednesday is going to be considerably cooler and wet with showers and storms tapering off during the afternoon hours with highs in the 60s.

Drying out for the weekend with increasing temps back to the 70s this weekend and early next week>!

This is why we moved here.

Light breezes with plenty of sunshine and temperatures between 75 and 84 the next week.

Temps will surpass 90 by mid April into May...with 100 becoming common in five or six weeks. That is NOT why we moved here, but it is why I had a new heat pump/ac unit put in this spring.

I usually turn it on on tax day and turn it off on Halloween.

Had my NWR listening area's fir severe thunderstorm warning this past Wednesday morning; nothing in my immediate neighborhood, but some hail was reported over the northern burbs. Had some heavy rain and lightning in our area, though.

Right now at 3:03 pm CST, it is sunny to mosunny with temperatures in the upper 50s and north winds 10 to 20 mph.

Looking ahead... it appears a VERY NICE weekend is in store. Saturday and Sunday will be partly sunny with 60s, possibly nearing 70 by Sunday. Monday, highs will be IN the 70s ahead of a storm system. Mon night into Tuesday, a chance of thunderstorms exist with highs cooling a bit into the 60s to near 70.

Last band of rain expected to come through shortly. Have had 5.95" since Wednesday Night plus we had over 6 inches over the weekend. Yes... my yard has turned into a floatation device.

Tomorrow looks windy and quite cold for Early April. Only Upper 50s for highs with howling north winds. Low expected around 35 Sunday Morning!

Today was a standard Pacific northwest spring day. We had rain in the morning, partly sunny skies in the afternoon, then a heavy rain/hail squall in the evening. Temps were in the mid to upper 40's, and now currently 38.4 degrees. Here are some pics I took of the squall and tonights sunset.................

This was about 45 min ago, things were looking ominous but still dry......

This was taken just as the rain started to fall..........

http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/golfer96_ ... pg&.src=ph

This is when the hail started, notice how dark it got............

http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/golfer96_ ... pg&.src=ph

Then just I was running down to the store, I got these awesome sunset pics while it was still raining and hailing.........
