No, I'm just saying that you questioned whether he was going to round up cattle. I replied that he has a ranch. I guess it's part of his persona.

From what I remember, the ranch is for kids with cancer or parents who lose a child to SIDS.

My kids were home for Easter and I hadn't watched TV for quite some time. I had TV on during the news conference with the team. All I heard was we send out our condolences to the parents of the team members. I looked at my son-in-law and asked "Did someone get killed?" He told me the whole story. Imus' sidekick (I forgot his name) should be the one really catching hell. Immediately after Imus made his comment, the other guy referred to them by a viciously racist term.

Imus didn't disagree with him, so they were clearly referring to the fact that the players were black. To say the conversation was not about race is incorrect.

I haven't followed this in a detailed way. But, imo, there is no reason whatsoever for
ANY person to use those terms in ANY CONVERSATION

Yes what he said was totally uncalled for and I do think he deserved his punishment,but he as already apologized and his apology has been accepted and yet there's still a "BREAKING NEWS!!!" graphic on the bottom of every major news channel.That's all I've heard the past 3 days is Imus and the Duke boys,back to back over and over again.
