More blah,blah,blah from Iran.

Any country in this world would threaten those who have attacked it. The statement is tantamount to 'Don't attack us.' which really isn't that big of a demand if you sit down and actually think about it.

Many of the IEDs being found in Iraq are of British design....somehow this information was gathered by the IRA, which gave it to other groups, yadda, yadda, yadda. This is something that was reported as far back as 2004, but was buried because it embarrassed the British government. Thus, clearly Iran is not soley responsible for these IEDs, and it isn't probable that Iran is responsible for the majority of them, despite the claims of the administration.

The information at link above suggests that the Iran's Nuclear Program is in a irreversable course towards developing the Nuclear Bomb.

Iran will be able to develop enough weapons-grade material for a nuclear bomb and there is little that can be done to prevent it, an internal European Union document has concluded.

WASHINGTON - President Bush said Wednesday he’s convinced that the Iranian government is supplying deadly weapons to fighters in Iraq, even if he can’t prove the orders came from the highest levels in Tehran.

More important, Bush said in his first news conference of the year, is protecting U.S. troops against the lethal new threat. “I’m going to do something about it,” Bush said.

Interesting words that President Bush said about the Iran issue. What does he mean when he says,he will do something about it? Hmmmm.

"Whether Ahmadinejad ordered the Quds Force to do this, I don't think we know. But we do know that they're there. And I intend to do something about it," he said, adding that the conclusion that the Iranians are involved is not being used as a pretext for war.

They are doing these war games to counter what the U.S. is doing with the 3 carriers in the gulf.

two possible reasons that may have been leaked.

Part of the media has an agenda and has been violating the law and leaking classified material for a while now.

The second is, this is a classic misdirection tactic. Remember, when we launched the air raids over Iraq in 2003, we publically said that the Saudi's would not let us use their base. We even said that they told us privately that we could not use their base and the operations had to come out of Bahrain. Saddam took the bait as we flew out of the same base that the Saudis said we could not use

I honestly believe that there will be a war between the US and Iran sooner rather than later.

I don't see how it can be avoided, but I can't say why or I'll get booted. ;)

As long as what you want to state is your own opinion and doesn't involve "politics" it can be posted. The problem comes when people start putting the political opinions and/or statements into it. For instance, if you were to state "I think we should pull out of Iraq" or "the war could be ended by the US pulling out of Iraq" without tieing it to anything political that would be allowable, but if that statement continued on with opinions concerning the people and political parties involved that would be a problem. Did I make it clear as mud? :D :D

Seriously, pm me if you have questions concerning this.

My reason would be construed to be political. ;)

War with Iran is completely avoidable, logically. However, certain circumstances now exist, which I don't think will be rectified in time, that make war seem unavoidable.
