I think I have lost some brain cells.

Anyway, did ya'll see this? An anchor on MSNBC yesterday morning REFUSED to cover Paris as the top story, she even rips up and later shreds the paper!

The clip from the news anchor was great, although a little disturbing that she tried to burn the script.

I only watched part of the interview with Hilton and for me she came across a lot better than i thought she would.

I'm all for giving Paris at least a chance. I remember Marilyn Monroe making a career out of the "dingbat" role and becoming a legend to boot! Also, Madonna used to just be a bimbo second rate singer peddling her "SEX" coffee table book, now she speaks good Kings' english and adopts south African villages! Remember when highly acclaimed, Oscar winning actress Angelina Jolie was just a wacky lost member of the Addams family wearing Billy Bob's blood in a vial around her neck??!! People can change so, I say let's see where she goes from here. She does at the very least seem like a sweet girl. Misguided, yes but, still sweet. 8-)

Personal opinion here, at least Marilyn Monroe had a purpose, she was an actress. I have YET to see any purpose that Paris has other than shopping and partying!!!!

There are numerous designers who would disagree with you on that point. One thing that girl can do well is tear up the catwalk! Not saying she's a role model but, she is an awesome runway model! All I'm saying is that I personally am willing to give the girl a chance to become more than what she has been as of late.

I have a difficult time completely negating anyone's "purpose" in the whole of life just because they haven't done anything I have found particularly special yet. Life's a long journey and Paris is in a very good position to do something bigger and better than anything she's attempted up to this point. She may end up suprising alot of people. I'd rather give humans the benefit of the doubt that they can rise up out of the "shallows" and accomplish great deeds. :D :D :D

On second thought, HMMM... Marilyn Monroe...
Did a handful of movies, became a drug addled alcoholic and had an illicit affair with a quite married J.F.K.
Yeah, you're right, that must be a FAR greater purpose than Paris will ever be able to serve in her lifetime!! :grrr: :grrr: :grrr:

Sounds like a great, 5-star, record-breaking masterpiece.

How many films really are 5 star these days anyway?? Seems like Hollywood cranks 'em out faster than Mc Donald's can flip their burgers!!

McHollywood, now serving McMovies to an A.D.D. nation!!!

However, I am looking forward to watching Cate Blanchette reprise her role as Queen Elizabeth the first in the continuing story of her incredible reign over England! She did such an amazing job in the first film and her interpretation of the Queen was uncanny! I think that I heard that it was set for release in the fall. 8-) 8-) 8-)
