Ooooh, I need to clarify something. I'm okay. Everything is fine right now. I'm sorry for any misunderstanding. :( I was posting to give some love and support to Stephanie and everyone going through the process. It can be hellish, especially if you feel that you are alone.

I agree, Pojo. It helps to have a practical knowledge of medicine and the politics of treatment. Sometimes (not always!) doctors have their own reasons for their routines. I've had a few run-ins wih MDs from time to time.

Thanks Kathy, janie and pojo. I'm glad that it was only scar tissue Janie!

Actually, my gynecologist called and left a message on my home phone today so I have to call back. My script from him was only for the diagnostic mammogram and the ultrasound. I agree, that 6 months is a long wait and I want to know now what the heck it is. I'll have to see what my doctor says tomorrow.
