Another indirect casualty from Katrina.

Well, here is an update. She filed the papers this month. I am waiting for them. It's a long and drawn out process since she is going thru something called legal aid. Some people are shocked when I tell them that I am getting a divorce.

All I do is stay home all the time. It's hard to go out now. I am not seeing anyone, dating is the furthest from my mind now.
I'll be okay. I must.

Another update....the papers mentioned in the quote above I got about 2 wks ago. They were served to me at work by a cop which so happened to be my brother's wife daddy!!!

Hang in there LaPlaceFF, look up in the air and see the beautiful sky, hear the beautiful sounds of the birds chirping, know that its not Katrina knocking on our door again, at least for right now, things will always feel better. Lift up your heart and let God help you through this. Things will work out. If you are meant to find another person for your life, you will. My prayers are with you. My husband has family that lives in Gramercy, Lutcher and Paulina. If you need someone to talk to, I am sure one of those kin folks would help you out. They are wonderful people. My husband's grandfather ran the post office in Lutcher out of his house for many many years, you may remember him, Live was his first name. His Aunt was a teacher at Gramercy High School and has since retired. But there are so many of the kin folk overthere from their 80's on down to the kids....any age group...let me know if you need a friend or uninvolved party to talk too...you never know what might help! One of his uncles is really big into save the wildlife and wetlands people so if you want to get involved in something like that I can hook you up, you know, get your mind off things and do something else besides work and go home.
