Miss Mary is now hitting herself in the head....

"That's a Tornado you idiot" - saying to self.....

I just thought it was some fancy schmancy stalk Karan, b/c maybe your pumpkin's stalk wasn't tall enough (I hate when they fall off!).

LOL Joke's on me....it is WEATHER related!!!!

Wow...what a great neighborhood for trick or treaters...I'd say I had between 400-500 kids...I had to go into all my back up candy supply, PLUS run to the store and buy 18 more packages....HONEST! We ended up dressing up, and making a "set' and had some pretty scary stuff going on, and it really scared and intrigued some of the little ones...The most costumes were probably Star Wars Storm Troopers, and Scream masks....

Our kids went to the church function, and then brought 9 friends over from there for trick or treating....(all on skateboards...lol) and then after the fact we set them all down outside and gave them cups of hot cocoa and sandwiches....Teenagers have just as much fun as little kids on Halloween....we even had several 20 something's come get candy!!!

Did your neighbors inquire about your pumpkin Karan? Did they want to know what the heck it was about??? You did an awesome job!

Furry, that's a good question. No one asked what that particular pumpkin was all about. I couldn't understand it.

Wow, 400-500. I thought I had a lot. Our Halloween was only 2 hours. How long was yours?? Sounds like you did a great job.

I'm surprised no one asked...phooey!

Our first kids came right at 5:45...we got hit hard and heavy until about 7:30, and our last trick or treaters were just before 9pm. I noticed all the little kids very early...and as it got later, the older ones bombarded us...I had to go out and buy more candy at Rite Aid...and thankfully all they had left were Reese's Cups 8 packs...so we have a few left...yum...

Originally, I bought full sized reeses cups, to give a good treat when the store had them for 25 each. I bought a case, and then I went to Florida...there were sooo few left when I got home, that I decided to start eating them too...hee hee, so then I had to for real candy shop, along with back up quantities...and then add to THAT last night.... Usually we give out Mardi Gras beads as well, from out Louisiana days...wish I could have put my hands on that box of beads this years! The little girls love the beads!
