If I'd seen her start, I would have understood more about what she was doing, but I tuned it near the end as she was taking if off the grill.

whatever you do with cabbage you can probably do with iceberg lettuce

similarly, whatever you do with spinach you can probably do with romaine or any other stalk lettuce.
