The last site struck me as nothing more than an index to some sites that could be interesting resources and to some that are nothing more than conspiracy theory sites. And yes, IMO, those are pretty much just conspiracy theories in a religious sense. In the same way some people try to overanalyze (and mis-analyze) strange sightings, politicians' murders, and flight numbers, there are those who confuse themselves and others by theorizing on certain aspects of the Bible.
Wait, wait, wait -- before you accuse me of saying that we Christians shouldn't read and understand the Bible, that is NOT what I am saying. However, Christian and doomsday cults have been spawned off misinterpretations of Biblical verses. Just because they use words like "God" and "Jesus" does not mean they are talking about the Christian God or His Son Jesus. You have to be careful of false prophets and teachings. Read the Bible yourself and pray for guidance and wisdom to understand it, not only in your mind, but in your heart.
Like I said, SOME of those sites are good resources -- educational and interesting. However, I personally do not believe that we should focus so much on trying to discover the when and where of Christ's return (because no one is going to figure it out anyway). Simply have faith that it will happen. Until then, I will continue to live my life day by day, being thankful for the many blessings that my Father bestows upon me, my family, friends, and country.
I feel sorry for those who spend their lives doing nothing more than trying to figure out when they're going to see Jesus. It seems they lack any faith that it will happen and they spend all their time worrying about it. If they know Him in their hearts, then it will certainly happen someday.
It all reminds me of a song by one of my favorite Christian groups, the Newsboys, called "Lights Out."
The chorus goes like this:don't go shuttin' down
'til the trumpet sounds
and the battle is won
don't go punchin' out
'til the final shout
and the Father says,
"Well done"
And the last verse:last one shoots the lights out, and
climbs up to the top of the roof
he's sitting there 'til the Second Coming
says he's got mathematical proof
who do you think you are?
did you figure out the date?
what do you hope to do
while you sit around and wait, wait, wait...
Claps!!!!!
You are my hero, LOL

My grandmother, I loved her, god bless her, but she was always telling me "Jesus will come one day". It was annoying. I am not a religious person. I haven't been to church in years and really don't think he'll come anytime soon. I seriously doubt he'll even come in my lifetime.
