My next door neighbors' son uses fireworks, fire, and anything pyrotechnic to kill fireants.

(I originally posted this in Storm2k games)
When I was about 5 years old, My father took his car in to the car repair shop off of Montague Ave. in North Charleston. I was barefoot and I saw like thousands of fireants crawling around on the sidewalk. I wandered over there to look at them when the next thing I know, I was covered in them, and they bit the crap out of me. I ended up with a ton of fireant bites and a trip to the hospital.

So to say I have no love loss for fireants is a definite understatement.

Stormsfury, I can commiserate with you on that. When my sister and I were rolling in the grass over at an aunt's house when we rolled into a huge bed of fireants. By the time we realized it we were covered from head to foot with the ants. My mom and aunt heard us screaming and ran to see what was wrong with us. They snatched us up and ran into the house and put us in the tub and poured bottle after bottle of alcohol over our heads and filled the tub with hot water. That was when I was a samll child, many years ago but I remember it like yesterday.
