I must admit, as shocking and odd as it was, I'd take seeing that instead of seeing an attack by al-Qaeda anyday.
A few years ago, Lucy Lawless (Xena) was singing the National Anthem at a Detroit Red Wings game (her then-boyfriend, now-hubby Xena producer Rob Tapert is an RW fan). She was wearing a strapless red, white, and blue dress. At the end of the song, she raised one arm as she held out the final note. Her breast popped out and there was a mild to-do about it. But no one really talks about it anymore. It's old news. I'm sure that's how it will be for this and for that kiss and for several other "shocking" televised moments.
Think about it -- does anyone bother to mention Prince's butt-exposing yellow pants from several years ago?

Big difference here.
* A breast popping out by accident, and a breast being shown to millions after a piece fo clothing is ripped off the body.
* The kiss -- again...not an accident, rather a staged, in your face, agenda pushing moment for all to see.

No, there's no difference here in terms of what I was saying in my post and what my point was.
And my point was -- Soon, it will soon be old news and no one will talk about it or care (accident or intentional, doesn't matter). And secondly, I'd take that over sitting in front of the TV will millions of others and watching another 9/11 unfold in front of our eyes.
I also said in a previous post that there was no doubt in my mind that it was intentional.
