LOL.. Yes it actuly was, until certain questions were asked :o: Woman in general are shy when it comes to discussing certain aspects of married life! And of course I was not popular with some when I expressed the fact that the man is the head of the house and woman should be subserviant to them. (This is biblical) Not that a woman is a slave by any means.

Like I've said before...sometimes the truth hurts (typing looking over my shoulder so that the wife doesn't see it) I have no doubt that women have ruled the household for centuries. A wise man once told me the difference between a "good" woman and a "bad" woman is that a "Good" woman let's you think you are in charge! I have yet to see a woman that couldn't get what she wants if she REALLY wants it!

Well, in response to that I would have to say that MEN ARE NOT RULERS OF THE HOUSE! Atleast not in my house!!! There are NO rulers in my house! We are a "family" and families work together...If we have a decision to make, both me and my husband must agree on it before it is done. I'm sorry, but those who actually believe that men are superior over women are dead wrong. Society and culture may have taught most of us this, but I'll tell ya right now...NO man will ever rule my life or think he is superior to me!! We as humans are created equal!

Amanzi, I do agree that we should satisfy our husbands...But only if we receive satisfaction in return :wink:

I am woman....hear me roar!!! LOL

you don't want to hear it...That was mild compared to what I usually say when I get into a conversation like that. My husbands friend since childhood came to see us last summer. He started on about all that when I jumped in. Hubby just shook his head, started laughing and told his friend...."You've messed up now!!"

Seriously, I have no problem if a woman thinks her man is the ruler...that's her opinion! After all, she's the one that has to sleep in the bed with him. BUT, if my husband were to ever think that he could rule any part my life...Well, let's just say, the door is only a few steps away! This is my life...it doesn't belong to anyone else...and I will do what I please with it!

LMAO! I have watched too many women let men rule their lives, and I WON'T be one of them! I believe in equality, I would never ask of a man more than what I get, but I draw the line at making personal sacrifices day after day just to keep a man satisfied, a good man would never ask that of me anyways!

RIGHT ON!! Most women feel trapped to do what their husbands want because they feel since he is the "sole provider" for the family then he should get what he wants...or just because of the simple fact that he's a "man". I see my sister go through it every day. Her husband tells her to do something and she jumps on it. I tell him to get off his lazy butt and do it himself...but she wont! I just don't get it...and I probably never will.
