Well...the prices are pretty reflective of some of the turmoil they had in Venezuela, plus the economy isnt so hot, markets dropping, jobs lost. i think this is as high it'll go for now and pump prices will be stable until the next round....probably war.

Last I saw, at Arco (the CHEAPEST gas station around here), it was $1.75, $1.85, and $1.95 from lowest octane to higest octane. Makes me wonder what the most expensive ones are charging now here.

Well the war jitters are dominating the oil markets as the barrel of oil continues to climb.

Today the oil market closed at $35.17 a barrel so guys we will see the prices of gas continue to go up in the near future until the war jitters see that war starts and it is a quick one then prices will begin to fall.

Too damn much if you ask me ... but on this writing, Charleston, SC gas prices are the cheapest of the ones I see here ...

Right now, regular unleaded gas prices are from $1.35 to $1.43 per gallon.

Now it's Feb 13th, and guess what ... gas prices jumped .10 to .12 cents just yesterday - I paid $1.56 a gallon! - :o :grr:

Ranges now are from $1.51 - $1.61 -- WTF?! Too much then, and way too much now! :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr: :grr:

Rob the oil market closed today at $35.17 a barrel so it is still going up as the war jitters are waiting for war to start.

So guys expect those gas prices to climb more.

Prices have gone up 13 cents since Monday. We're currently looking at $1.63-$1.66 for regular. Sucks, but what can you do? I've gotta commute 20 miles each way 5x a week. Fortunately my husband only has a 3 mile commute, but his Blazer is a gas guzzler.

Last time I got gas, which was Thursday, I paid $1.62. It is pretty sad that my little 10 gallon tank takes more than $16 bucks to fill!

On a lighter note most of the cars totalled during our icestorm were SUV's so maybe it was a sign from up above for them to get more fuel efficient cars?!?! only joking of course...

Latest gas prices here stand at $1.50 for regular unleaded; I hope this temporary rise is reflected in my oil royalty checks! :D

You Guys think your gas prices are bad?

Come to Wisconsin...especially Green Bay! I filled up on Friday before I went home and prices were $1.73/gal for unleaded! I'm dead serious!!! I drove back to Green Bay this evening, and prices went up to $1.75/gal. I didn't fill up, I just happened to notice the prices. Now that's bad! My car is a 1988 gas hog...so I fill up atleast once a week. Work and plasma runs...that's all I use my car for! (those places are on the South/Southwest side of town, UWGB is on the extreme NE side of town!) I walk to classes, so no need for my car.
