Paris Hilton back in jail

What a strong judge!!!!! If she needs mental health care, she can be afforded the same care as anyone who is jailed. I always thought she would go into a meltdown, but thought they would isolate her in a jail facility for that. Fair is fair and she is getting what she deserves like anyone else. I'm really proud of that judge and his integrity.

Hilton's mother, Kathy Hilton, was later seen pacing the hallways, telling reporters, "I'm paralyzed right now."
So which is it - was she paralyzed or not?

Seriously though, from what I saw on CNN earlier, Paris' mother is a BIG part of her problem and she (the mother) should go to jail too IMHO.

Actually the judge is mad at the Sheriff and using Paris as an example.
I don't like Paris and think she's an airhead of monumental proportions, but the judge is treading dangerously close to abuse of power.
The LA County Jail has always been run by the Sheriff and he has always exercised the authority to let lesser-offense prisoners out to make room for more serious offenders.
That being said, someone who is suicidal should NOT be sent home. However, release to a psych ward would have been appropriate.

Her Cavalier attitude towards the terms of her probation (and it's for violation of her probation that she's being jailed for not the DUI) didn't help her either. Aside from not supposed to be driving, she was also supposed to attend an alcohol awareness class, pay a $1500 fine and perform community service none of which she did.

Turns out Paris Hilton isn't the only despicable person in this story.
Delgadillo argues that his wife's driving on a suspended license crime was not DUI-related but still it seems very slimey off him to be arguing for
extensive jail time for Paris when his wife just paid a measly $186 for a similar driving-related crime.
Can't wait to see how much Delgadillo and the judge who some here like to call a "strong judge" get soon for their book deals. This is all about money and greed and abuse of power nothing about giving someone the right sentence for a crime.
Do you people (aside from the open minded Regit) actually care about our country's laws and justice system or do you just want to see someone you don't like have to sit in jail for the fun of it?
In the ultimate of ironies, turns out the wife of Los Angeles City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo -- the man who wanted more jail time for Paris Hilton -- was popped for driving with a suspended license.
The incident occurred in 2005, according to the Los Angeles Times. Michelle Delgadillo's punishment -- a $186 fine.
