Currently 29* out today...yup, a heat wave is expected to come this weekend, Just in time for us to leave town and head for PA.

The yards are starting to look like a swamp...the snow is melting and the water left behind is turning the dirt into a mud puddle.

Hello to everyone at the Pot Belly Stove. Just wanted to stop in and say hello.

It is finally raining a little bit here in Spring Mount, PA. It was supposed to be an all day rain event with a chance of a little snow at the end (according to last night's NWS forecast). But it was partly cloudy with temps near 50 until a little after 3 PM.

Pojo - Looks like you are about to get some nice warm weather in the next few days! :D Where in PA are you headed, BTW?

Rob - I see you have really racked up the posts here! At the rate I am going, I will catch you in the year 2054 (if I am still alive then and of course if this site is still around then).

Isobar - Hail?? What's that?? I guess that means severe wx season is upon us!

Skywatch - Glad none of your weather is expected to be severe. :)

wx247 - Sounds like you got some nasty weather! I am happy to hear the damage was isolated and not widespread.

Have a great evening everyone! 8)

Well..I just got home 45 mins ago and had to wait an hour more since the doc had bad traffic and wrecks everywhere! I will get a call tomorrow or a few days on prices for this eye procedure. It takes 30 seconds total! Unreal! Probably $1000 but I dont care...I'll pay to get rid of the pain forever.

Anyhow....I got home and noticed that I only had a DRIVE gear and had to go all the way around the lake and part crooked in my driveway since I have no other gears. Its an automatic and the stick is loose....probably snapped the shifter cable on a speedbump and/or snow on the roads here. I'll tow it in the morning to the dealer and see what it needs.

The snow is falling bigtime...up to 4" and closing in on the mark for all-time.....stand by!

JCT - How ya been? Good to see you over here!

Rob - Did I read that right - the eye procedure takes 30 seconds and costs $1000? Wow, crunch the numbers on that puppy! :o

Yep....I'm not sure the cost yet iso...but the doc told me the whole procedure takes seconds and I'm in and out of the office in minutes! I love modern technology. The eye is numbed and there is no pain. Also I might have blurring (like I do now) and it'll wane in days and return to sharp vision.....almost like a Lazik procedure.

Right now I gotta get this damn car fixed and the temps are going to rise...I need to get away! I have cabin fever!

We got 4" and that ties my all-time record! woooohooooo

[b]The FAT lady needs to sing folks!

HOWDY one and all, another BAD day for the foot, that's why I haven't been around too much, sawbones said there would be dayz like these BUT.......he said it's gonna take as long as a YEAR for the foot to get back to normal! GREAT.....I CAN go back to work next month on a VERY limited bases, AH WELL, it's done!

YEP, the FAT LADY needs to sing here folks, we have a WHOPPER of a storm coming, it's SUPPOSE to be even BIGGER than the last one, ANOTHER 51"???? :o That would be GREAT, we NEED every single inch we can get!!! I've been in the 60's, even a FEW 70's and the forecast HIGH for Monday and Tues into the LOW 30's :o AH WELL, "Bring it ON BABY!" :D

Talk about REPAIR BILLS :grr: We got the Ram outta the shop today after 2 weeks, we didn't have it during the blizzard when we NEEDED it, we BLEW the rear differincial out, are you READY for THIS????? $1,173.00 :o :o :o :o :o labor was only 265$ of that, the rest was PARTS :grr: It's a WHOLE heck of a lot cheaper and a LOT LESS expensive than a NEW TRUCK :P I will NEVER, EVER buy a new one AGAIN, I refuse to pay the insurance on a new one, besides, the 89 Ram looks JUST as GOOD if not BETTER than a new one and it's STILL in showroom condition, she's MY BABY!!!!

I'm glad that I'm not the only one with car problems...

The 'ole Lumina's transmission is slipping. I hate to pay the local

Yes, 50's this weekend, but what we have been hearing, PA is going to have some nice readings too for our Collegiate Challenge. Possibly 60's on Sunday for our arrival.

Norristown, PA. I'm leaving Saturday sometime in the late afternoon, possibly around 5pm. Its about a 17 hour drive from Green Bay to Norristown.

Well folks...I am going to call it a night. JQ wore me out with the posting frenzy earlier. I was posting so fast, I don't even know where all I posted!

One more day of class and then Spring Break...I am so excited.

Oh and by the way... a piece of news I forgot to mention... I have switched majors to secondary education with an emphasis in speech and theatre. That was my original major all the way back last yr. and I am back to that. Man...I need to make up my mind. Yeesh!

Night everyone!

Ciao! :multi:

lol gator...it looks like 8291 is gonna be toast today after noon for sure. I'm dying to get rid of it in my sig line for good and that will be another chapter!

Well...I had another eye sting episode early this morning...stung like a bit**!!! Just when I was returning to 20/600 in the eye lol Now its blurred bigtime. I cant wait for this laser thing.

Looks like in about 2 hours I'll call a tow truck and get hauled out of here and to the dealer for this damn shifter cable. Pretty sad when the car remains in drive and you cant start it unless its in park! Stupid safety features on cars today...sheesh! Knowing my luck I wont get the car back til Tuesday...I hope its sooner. I need to re-chrome the whole thing...and the advent of 50s here and some melting snow will help.

We got 4" here last night....again more than most places which got 2-3"....the storm before the warm. Also a much quieter day in the nation and I'll be posting follow ups on the reports soon. Have a good day everyone....see ya later!
