OMG, sounds too familiar to me... (Not the singing part but the latter)...

Check your PM, Amanzi ...

I got to exit stage left and go to sleep ... I have to be back up at 4 am for work ... :( Hopefully, tomorrow will be just as good.

Have a good night, Storm.

Amanzi, all other wxbuddies....it's time to hit the 'ole
proverbial sack! I hear those windchimes playing
that tune on the Porch in the warm, light breeze....
the frogs are calling out, down at the pond...the scent of
hyacinths float through the air...(*sigh)

...and, Garrett is curled up in MY hammock chair - clutching
his bag of Hershey's Kisses as if it were a bag of gold!
Ahhh, but, I'm too tired to care...LoL...you got it, tonight,
buddy! :D I'm going nitey-nite, too.

Ya'll have a good night.

i'm actually NOT working on my chemistry during this time of night. that's a first! I have chem lab at 8am tomorrow and procrastinator me, I wait til the night before to do the lab write up!

I'll take a splash of Lemonade and Tequila. My friends made me drink it while I was in milwaukee...even though I hate Lemonade. Surprisingly, it wasn't that bad. I haven't had Jack and Lemonade though...I'm not really a Jack Daniels fan.

Garrett...age doesn't stop you from drinking! Don't ask on how many times I drank while I attended UW-Milwaukee last spring semester (2002). Drink all you want, just don't get caught and what ever you DO NOT drive! Get a DD.

SF...4am wakeup...I remember those days during the summer. The Neenah-Menasha Y opens at 445am M-F and the opening guards have to be there at 415am that way everything can get done. 330am wake up call comes way to fast! Against statements from guards scared of the opening shift...it isnt' that bad. Surprisingly! Tuesday and Thursday shifts go by fast...Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays are the killers! I open on Saturday mornings, but that isnt' that bad. 530am wake-up for a 615am starting shift. It goes by really fast because I am only sitting in the guard chair for 2 hours (I have to teach lessons at 830am)...normally opening guard is there from 445am to 9am.

I smell Chocolates! I smell chocolates...oh wait it's only Hersheys...not Oreos! If it was oreos, i'd be over that like a pack of wild dogs on a 3 legged cat (rephrased...that means look out)

I'm heading to bed myself. I got home late too so I'm still up. I wanted to drop by and read a couple of posts and say hi but I can't keep my eyes open any longer.

See you all tomorrow :D

Hi everyone. I just started a Prayer List for loved ones serving in the Military/Armed Forces. If you'd like to add a name, please go to my topic in the Greetings section titled "Prayer List".

Switching to our Front Porch was a great idea! I do think it's time to put away that snow shovel! What a snowy winter we had in Cincy.

Another day on the Front Porch - its Thursday and its been really hectic week for me. I am just waiting for the weekend.

After all those girls scout cookies - now our troop has to pay for them - its been the biggest headache for me.

Well - I'll eat my breakfast - I left a box of Krispy Kremes for everyone. Have a great day!

Good Morning!

Thanks for the KK'S ticka!

This is the earliest I've posted in a while, I've been up since 0330 local time, dang foot Grrrrr! The sawbones said this was gonna happen from time to time, it's the nerves regenerating, sharp, stinging pain over the whole foot, AH WELL, this too shall pass!

OMG the WIND!!! It blew over 40 mph ALL night long and it's STILL howlin', temps are suppose to drop like a rock as a cold front passes to the north of us, we even have a *slight chance, 10%* of SNOW....that's not unusual however, in a normal year (this winter, spring is about as normal as normal gets for us) we will have snow until mid to late April, I've seen it snow 7" on the 10th of May!

Continued prayers for our men and women serving our country, God Bless!

Morning everyone. I had a wonderful night's sleep out in the hammock. And for letting me Breeze, you get 2 bags of Hershey's Kisses! :)

It is a nice morning here. 54º outside and looks like we will be in the 70's again. Much cooler weather for the weekened, however.

Everyone have a great day!

Just dropping in for a BIG lunch break before I go back to work.

Jacki, what kind of songs did you sing last night?
I sing quite a bit and I'm currently working on a couple of hard rock songs.
"Not Afraid" from Earshot, and real soon "Straight out of Line" from Godsmack...

I just wish I had more time to devote my voice to a band, but I can't commit 100% ATT, and it wouldn't be fair to the band.

I have always wanted to be a famous musician/singer. People tell me I sing really well, and while I wouldn't sing hard rock, I know exactly what you mean Storms. I don't have the time to commit! I know sometimes it seems like I live on this message board, but I do sooo much besides posting on here.

Well... I am off to pick up my grandmother from the beauty salon. It is so windy today that my grandmother told me on the way down there that she was just throwing her money away.

See ya!

Man, I could make time, I love to sing! I sing mostly songs from Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston etc. becuase that is what I do well, that's my range. I also like to sing older songs, like from Patsy Cline, The Shirelles, stuff like that. And occasionally I'll sing country, usually Shania or LeAnn Rimes. I'm pretty flexible I guess!

A Wind Advisory remains in effect for my area this afternoon and tonight.

Have a great day!

Hey everyone! :)

I saw that this topic had dropped to near the bottom of the page, so I figured I would bring it back to the top.

Sorry I have not stopped in for a long time. In fact, it's been so long that everyone is now hanging around on the front porch in short sleeves instead of huddled near the stove while wearing 3 sweaters.

Speaking of wearing 3 sweaters, it is supposed to be mighty chilly on Sunday and early next week here in Spring Mount, PA. High temps are only expected to be in the upper 30's and 40's. That is a far cry from the 60+ temps that we have been enjoying here for almost 2 solid weeks.

Well, time for me to go home (yes I am still at work at nearly 9 PM eastern time). Have a great night all! 8)

Finally, I get a chance today to relax on the front porch after a long but not too brutal day. A weird weather day, where cold air damming lasted only 8 hours. Temperatures this morning were quite mild, turned colder by 10 am, but by 5 pm, the low clouds broke off, and temperatures warmed right back up.

I think with the cold snap approaching that we may have to sit by the ol' bonfire.

Well another work day of 5 am in the morning approaches already.

Time to catch up on some things and call it a night.
