"HOLY CRAP!" Our monitor, RIP, died today, ya know the kind, the 15" BIG AS A CONSOLE tv type, 10 years old. WELL.....I'm posting now on a NEW Flat screen LCD monitor, it's SO BRIGHT, so BIG :eek: !!

I remember having a monitor which lasted for many years, one day it made that soound like an electric explosion and the back of my monitor was on fire and smoking heavily

I think this old monitor has gone though 6 towers...I keep on saying I'll get a flat screen when it dies out but it just keeps going...

This new one is a 19", you know how it goes for us old farts, contrary to popular belief, your VISION is one of the first things to go! :wink:

My first computer I had didn't even have a 15" screen. It was more like a 13". So you can imagine when I got my first 17"screen. I thought I had died and gone to heaven right then and there.
