A young lady was greeting at the entry doors. I actually said more than "hi" ; I said "hello, how are you?" in a more cheerful voice. I went to the second floor and greeted alot of people, something that I had not been doing too much of because of being frustrated with EVERYTHING. Now I have been known to have a great to spatacular memory, but what happened when I saw a girl, Lexy, for the first time since LAST SUMMER, was amazing. First, I recognized her as Lexy; she recognized me. This is the best part: Lexy was going to Colorado Springs for some ministry/schooling for the last fall/spring. I actually remembered it; I asked her "how was the time in Colorado Springs?" WOW! She said she was impressed with my memory!

This time I actually sat with a few new people, instead of being out in the back 200. That was neat! Best of all, I got my eardrums prepared and actually was in the large-sized room during worship (it can get loud at times)!

This, ladies and gentlemen, is the Terra Nova I remember! Really, it never changed; it was all me, being a bit of a grump with other events/WORRIES entering my mind!
In fact, I plan to start attending the small groups they have set up throughout the metropolitan area. And, if that was not enough, I plan on attending the last picnic (which I had unfavorable reviews back in June) on August 10.

I feel a bit more happy nowdays. I know it cannot be a happy life all the time; school is coming up--that can be a bear unto itself. It was a good time to change things, too; with school coming August 22, I need to have good attitude for two very important reasons: 1. It may make it easier to work on assignments (possibly with other students) 2. I may actually not stay couped up, to myself in the food court, a less traveled area of the student center or wherever else.
Just wanted to let my friends at S2K how it went!
