I am sorry for your loss. Having been there before, I know it is different for each person, but a couple of people have suggested another cat/kitten, and that will help, but when the time is ready for you and your family. Your beloved baby could never replaced, but a new love might make things easier.

If theres no hope and they're suffering you gotta put them down it's hard but it's better then making them suffer. I lost a cat to cancer 2 years ago so I know how it feels

My heart goes out to you and your wife. Losing your pet is so hard and having to make the decision to put them to sleep is even harder. :cry:
