Glad that the surgery went as well as could be expected...Hopefully the long term results will be the best.

As I understand it, Workmen's Compensation may vary by state; call your state Department of Labor for information. :larrow:

Stormy Skies,
Recently when my hubby was burned with 3rd degree burns at work, he was out on workmans comp for the time he was recovering from the burns. He was paid 3/4 of his normal monthly pay. He had a Workmans Comp person that went to the burn clinic visits with my hubby. Talking with a lawyer would not hurt. I am not sure what Texas does for Workmans Comp issues since I am down in FLbut I hop this helps. You should get some papers from Workmans Comp that say if you need to talk with a lawyer they can help with a lawyer.
I am glad that his surgery went well. Please keep us up to date on his situation.
