iPod/iPod Mini

#1 Postby stormie_skies » Fri Jul 29, 2005 6:18 pm

Okay....I've been thinkin' about pickin' me up one of these babies this weekend....I've been traveling a lot more for work lately, and the idea of having all my music in one little easy-to-carry machine really appeals to me. But $200 + for something that could fit in an evening bag???(think about how many pairs of shoes that could buy!!! ) I dunno....I've never gotten to play with an iPod.... does anyone here have one, or did you buy one for your child? Is it worth it? Are they as nice as I keep hearing they are?

Am I gonna spend all my savings at iTunes within a week???

I won a local duck race with 500 dollars a couple of weeks ago and purchased an iPod with some of that money. I definitely think it was money well spent. I listen to the music everywhere. If you travel a lot, I think this would be so handy for you.

I got one two weeks ago for my 17th birthday. My mom bought me a $200 one... And told me that if I wanted to upgrade, I could. [I gave her $100 on the spot... Why? Five times the memory, and a free wall-charger.]

Anyway, it's absolutely worth it. You can borrow CD's from friends, and put them on your iPod - and you'll always have them! I have the iPod that can hold 5000 songs [20 GB] - and i've already got 500 on it. So yes, an iPod is an EXCELLENT investment.
