Bullies

#1 Postby SolarQuestions » Thu May 20, 2004 8:02 pm

Bullies name call, they mock, they ridicule, they use way too much sarcasm to hurt, they usually lie, they have secrets they never tell because they fear others might name call them, they become violent, their violence they use to humiliate and demean.

But through all this i feel sorry for the bullies....they have no idea how sad they are looking, how frightened and scared they look to everyone, so they use mocking and violence to hide that fear and stop others from speaking about their fear and sadness. But the times are changing ....people are learning the strength of mind, body, spirit...they are becoming stronger as well as smarter and most importantly humble with their strength....the humility they must have so as not to hurt others even in the slightest ways. But one thing........They are exposing the bullies for the name callers and mockers for the weakness they are showing and how they are embarrassing themselves. In the future they (the bullies) will be afraid of being laughed at but they will only receive quiet pity ....i pity the name callers and mocker....the bully.

Bullies

#2 Postby sunnyday » Thu May 20, 2004 9:17 pm

I have no pity for bullies. They make life miserable for people. We all have problems, but we don't all bully others. Some people have actually killed themselves or others because a bully has made their life so miserable. :grr:

I have no sympathies towards bullies either. Especially 2 kids who claimed they were bullied but were probably bullies themselves {the Columbine kids}

but how do you deal

#4 Postby SolarQuestions » Thu May 20, 2004 10:00 pm

But the question is how do you deal with them? ...do you sink down to their level and become the bully ...no of course not ....all you can do is be strong and confident in yourself and know that the truth is peace but be strong physically as well as mentally ...just because someone is gentle and nice doesnt mean they are not strong....believe in that and the bully will see it ..they will see the strength in mind, body and spirit. The human being is evolving and learning and growing ....they will learn how to deal with a bully and how to spot one.

Bullies mock and ridicule ...especially the ones who talk peace and love.....They love to mock the ones who talk about intelligence, peace, understanding, love, and other ways besides violence and name calling and mocking ....you see name calling and mocking and ridiculing and telling jokes that hurt anothers feelings is a form of terrorism right along with punching them in the face. As a matter of fact the mental abuse hurts worse than the physical abuse ....physical pain usually goes away ....but hurt feelings from bad jokes and name calling and mocking that can last a life time and that can lead to violence. Mental torture is wrong as well as physical torture.

but like i said one who is strong in mind, body and spirit will not give in and will be wise enough to understand why the bully does bully and they will know the bully will break down one day big time. they will cry a river of tears if not worse. All the person who is strong in mind, body and spirit can do is try to help them to stop them from the oblivion they are headed to. Peace to you all :D

P.S- but in all irony the help from the one who is strong in mind, body and spirit will be the worst insult of all to the bully ...at least at first. Its hard to explain to a bully patience.

P.S again ...you know what they should have in schools .....a peace and understanding class ....hey why not ....maybe the world will be a better place is they did have a class like that :)

why is that?

#6 Postby SolarQuestions » Thu May 20, 2004 10:19 pm

Arent females suppose to be more Loving, sensitive, caring, understanding and patient than males? I guess that old stereotype is falling apart now days. ....we are seeing males and females are not that different in many many ways. heck we are all human right.

SQ, your Utopian ideals only require ONE unwilling, angry, covetous, grasping, hate-filled person to topple the cards.

Add the human factor in...beneath the VERY thin veneer of civility, courtesy, concern for one's fellows...and it is readily apparent that what you are asking of yourself (not to mention the rest of us) will only make of you, and those who "buy" your pacifism, a VERY tempting potential group of victims.

That has always been the excuse

#8 Postby SolarQuestions » Thu May 20, 2004 10:44 pm

Through out time what you said in your post has always been the excuse not to have peace...and low and behold we never had any peace ever....all we had were down times to lick our wounds before the next war. That is not peace that is purgatory. but i dont believe war is eternal i believe there are very very bad times to fight and i believe these times are it ....We can fight now days to oblivion ...we can roll fighting off the cliff together and that will be the end of our species here on Earth ....No more human race. Next species please. and life will try all over again to try and create a species that can reach the stars and progress for real ....because as it is looking now we are not that species....we are still too savage and very primitive.

Utopian ideals or Gods plan?

#9 Postby SolarQuestions » Thu May 20, 2004 10:47 pm

My utopian ideals are right in line with what God wanted ....in my opinion at least and according the bible even ...The Earth wasnt created by a hater and a war monger and a stupid person ..this world was created by the great spirit God. God is good, God is love and God will cleanse this awful name calling, spiteful, hateful, ridiculing, mocking, violent, sarcastic world. God is a perfectionist ...cant you feel that?

I do, but others DON'T...which is why I am a "strong man, armed within his house".

If YOU wish, in the Name of God, to put your neck on the block, so be it...they'll have to EARN my death, and I will make it very costly for them.

FYI, I'm an ex-STL policeman, and USAF veteran with battle experience, "up close and personal"...and, unless you have "been there", you have no idea as to just how ugly and vicious Man can be. I have seen it...too much of it...and I REFUSE to be a victim, EVER...no matter if it comes by way of predatory criminals, states, or nameless terrorists.

but the irony is....

#11 Postby SolarQuestions » Thu May 20, 2004 11:10 pm

But you know what the irony is .......in all my years of believing in peace very very few have bothered me in any way what so ever in real life....and i come from a pretty mean neighborhood with lots of crack and other terrible drugs and thugs of all sorts .....maybe its the way i carry myself ...maybe its my pit bull dog (she is so nice though :) ) but when people see me walk down the street they see a pretty big guy with a serious look on his face and they assume im not to be messed with because i can hurt them ....lol....all i will do is talk to them and do some preaching maybe ....lol...its really too funny.

here goes a piece of irony....my father was in the Korean war ...he was in the army (korea) and marines (end of ww2) and he got through that ok ...or so im told ....he got killed in the US here at home when i was two months old. Shot 5 times in the head. or so the death certificate said ....in the news paper articles he was supposedly shot three times in the head.

Nobody promised us a rose garden...He didn't, to be sure, but He DID state that there would be nothing thrown our way that we wouldn't have the strength to withstand, or when not, that He would provide an avenue of escape for us.

I take great comfort in that...but I stil would be a VERY poor steward of myself, family, etc., if I didn't obtain the means to defend myself and those around me, thus prolonging our lives.

it doesnt always work though...

#13 Postby SolarQuestions » Thu May 20, 2004 11:27 pm

Ive known people who had means to protect themselves lets say ....but they still somehow got their butts kicked or got killed....And they had "protection" ...if its gonna happen its gonna happen and all the firearms in the world wont protect us ....its timing and circumstance and attitude i believe.

But i understand what your saying ...i do....but im just trying another way ...so far so good...peace out...i have to go buddy.

Bullies come from bad parenting. A loved, nurtured and attended to child will not bully. One form of conveying the bully instinct to your child is by inflicting physical pain on the child. Other than to avoid an immediate unsafe situation, inflicting physical pain teaches that physical intimidation wins and brings about desired behavior and compliance. The young person assimilates this and then takes that acquired belief/behavior out into the interactions with peers in an attempt to "win" thru the same methods.

I think everyone has come in contact with bullies sometime in their life. I did during school and i know it really affected me. However, I also know that I have a fear of rejection which only helped to compound my hurt and anger. Some people have the emotional tools to be able to deal with bullies better than others. I feel bad especially for the extra sensitive children like myself that come across them.
